PURPOSE
Established in 1982, the
purpose of our Guild is to
preserve and promote the art of
basket making. Our members are
wonderful people whose skills and
knowledge vary from folks who just
love baskets to beginning basket
weavers to professional artists,
teachers and collectors. We have
more than 200 members: from
Washington and Oregon, Canada, and
across the country.
MEETING INFO
Meetings are held on the second
Wednesday of each month at 6:30pm,
except in July, August and
December. The Guild's extensive
library collection of books,
pamphlets and video tapes is
available for members' use during
social time. After show-and-tell,
at 7:30pm a program is presented,
with subjects such as basketry
techniques and materials, members'
basketry travels, or unique basket
makers. Visitors are always
welcome to attend.
We meet at:
Phinney
Neighborhood Center, in
