Join us for our annual Ellensburg Basket Roundup! Basket Roundup is a Northwest Basket Weavers Guild sponsored event, providing workshops to Guild members and the public. The teaching fees are subsidized by the Guild, students pay only a materials fee and a small fee to cover the cost of venue rental.

Registration is still open!

If you don’t want to take a class, come for Open Weave. Bring any basket project to work on.  Visit with other weavers. Are you stuck on a basket project? Bring it along! We usually have experienced weavers available to help. Plus, we have lots of fun activities throughout the day.

Show and Share:  Bring a basket along for the show and share table

Demonstration: Karen Sherwood and Vicky Nickelson will demonstrate how to prepare Dog Bane or Indian Hemp (Apocynum cannabinum) into cordage. Everyone gets to participate! This will fit right into Karen’s Sally bag class.

Basketry supplies will be available to purchase. (Bring cash or check).

Door Prizes throughout the entire day!!

Food: Lunch is from noon – 1 pm. The “Tacos Chalito” food truck will be in the parking lot for your lunch convenience, or you may bring your own, or visit a local restaurant. Coffee, tea and water available all day.
